what are you ladies doing to get your bodies ready for TTC?
my OB/GYN recommended:
- limiting caffiene to 1 cup a day - reducing blood pressure/stress level - increasing dairy intake - decreasing processed foods - increasing fresh fruits/veggies
and most importantly:
take my multi-vitamin everyday!!!!!

Those are great suggestions.. Thank you!
The only thing my dr said was to drink a lot of OJ b/c of the folic acid.

Ali, I can tell you it definitely lets your nails grow, I guess I have not seen any difference in my hair, but if someone said it, then I guess that was their experience.
PS how is your hair now?? are you TTC???

Its gotten worse since the wedding... Its devistating.. I used to wear a center part and had to move to a side part to cover it, but I am so self consious (sp?) of it. I used to go for injections every 3 weeks but that wasnt helping so I stopped doing that. I posted a while ago about this problem and a few girls mentioned prenatals helped (they had the similar problems).. We are going to start TTC in the summer so I figured I should start preparing myself now

Ali, my mother got the injections too, she has since stopped. I hope it gets better soon. My GF is supposed to be getting me something for the back of my hair. When I get it I will let you know. Her hair was falling out and she used it and her hair looks wonderful now.

Re: Getting your bodies ready
My GF was sharing with me today that the baby takes what it needs first before your body gets what it needs, so you should take care of yourself extremly well and definitely try to eat better. Calcium she said is so vital, b/c you can even lose your teeth from lack of it. *GOT MILK*

Also quit smoking if you do it decreases fertility and increases risk of m/c
