GGGGRRRRRRRRRRR! FH IS SUCH A JERK!!!!!----UPDATED

my travel agent, who is one of my BF/BM's MIL, did a lot of research and work for me for my HM. She sent me a million emails about St Lucia, with her personal opinions and a lot of descriptions, to give us a better idea. I'm supposed to call her tomorrow, with a better idea of which resort we want. So I tried showing FH all the info, and all of a sudden, out of nowhere, he doesn't want to go there!!!!!!! And he's being the biggest @#$!^%$ a#$*& about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M SOOOOO ANGRY. I'm doing everything for this wedding, and I try to include him, but it's like pulling teeth. He won't even talk about it now. ***??? Is anyone else dealing with this from their FH?


Well, he came in and apologized about being a jerk! He said he was out of line! I guess everythings cool now and we can book!

I don't know if some dumba@# at his job said something about it (we always have a problem w/ him telling those people our business) but what he told me was he saw something somewhere on it and it was bad and not 'exotic' and beautiful enough. This coming from someone who's never been past the US border. When I asked for another suggestion, he said Jamaica or Bahamas. Ummm ok, if you've never been to any of these places, how do you know which is more beautiful or exotic?

OK, I have been to St. Lucia before. It was only on a cruise stop, but it was BY FAR one of my favorite spots I've ever visited. No, I didn't get a chance to see the whole island, or take advantage of the ALL-INCLUSIVE priviledges... but it was absolutely GORGEOUS.

I decided throughout this whole honeymoon decision process that I was going to go with my gutt. The Sandals Grande St. Lucia was the 1st place I wanted to check out. Even after researching everything, I went with my 1st instinct.

EVERYONE'S got an opinion, good and bad and with everything, you'll always have good and bad no matter what you decide.

It's a personal choice.

My FH was the most excited about our HM so I didn't have that problem. But he's he doesn't show much interest in the rest of the planning, so I can relate. Give him some time then bring it up again. Ask him, if he really doesn't care, than can you just do all the planning for it. Obviously, he doesn't want to talk about the details, so maybe it's best you handle it. But he can't go changing his mind once you book it. MEN!
