GH'ers - I never knew this..

Liz and Lucky are 2nd cousins.

Laura's father is Rick Webber. Liz's dad is Jeff Webber. Rick and Jeff are brothers. Hence, Liz and Lucky are 2nd cousins.

Kinda weird - they almost married.

(ok I know it's just a soap..but still..it's weird)

And so are Heather and Jason. Heather and Jason's biological mother, Susan Moore, were cousins.

Is Heather Liz's mom or stepmom? I was trying to figure it all out the other day! :) I know Audrey is her grandmother but whos mom is she?? Is Rick Lauras REAL dad?

So confusing! And I've been watching forever!

I don't think that Rick Webber is Laura's real father. I believe he adopted her when he and Leslie got married.

That's what I thought but then I was thinking, wasn't it Amy that was adopted?

they were hot n heavy for about a year until Lucky (the original character) 'died' in a fire.

He was gone for a year, then another actor took the role. Helena had him imprisoned somewhere. He escaped but was never 'the same' - he and Liz did get engaged and almost married but she stopped the wedding because they weren't really doing it for the right reasons.

I just find it funny that they were distantly related and almost got married.

No relation really. Heather and Jeff were married briefly (after he divorced Monica Quartermaine, this was before she married Alan). He divorced her by mail and left for the midwest with their son Steven Lars.
This was in the late 70's/early 80's. Then they say that Jeff met Liz and Sara's mother out there, married, had the girls. They brought the girls to live with Audrey and went to provide medical assistance in Africa I think.

It's amazing how much history I know when I don't even watch on a daily basis.
