I live near the Kings Park psycho center. It is very scary!!! In high school my 2 friends and I were driving through to scare us and a pyscho came out straight for the car! OMG it was so scary! My friend Lauren was driving, she did a U turn right over a curb and grass and we went home scared sh!t!!!!!!

My FW and I are totally into scary things. Every Halloween we go to the haunted firehouse out on the Isalnd.. oh.. and Blood Manor too.. that place is cool.

This year we couldn't go to Sleepy Hollow because it was sold out.. but last year we made the Forest of Fear in Tuxedo, NY. (The same place as the Ren Faire.)

I am totally sending this list to all my friends and of course, FW.

For our one year anniversary of dating we actually went out to a haunted brewery/ B & B in Pennsylvania. It wasn't knock your socks off scary.. but if you were alone in the B & B by yourself, you kinda got the creeps.

Oh My GOD!!! We were driving through there once and some guy did the same thing...I freaked out!!!
Then Tom and his friends wanted to drive through the palce once at night...and they all stopped to talk about where we would go next from there....and I was FREAKING out!!!! that place is SCARY!!!!!

I have been to Kings Park, and I live right down the block from Amityville Horror...really I do.

What about Mount Misery???? or That old hospital in Long Beach?????

Sweet Hollow Road is on the list. I remember driving up and down that road... never saw anything.

I read some accounts of the Amityville Horror and I've seen the house, just the outside.... thoses stories freaked me out.

I've been to Kings Park at night, no psycho guy, but it is totally creepy. I kept checking to see if my door was locked. I must have checked about 50X. I posted on the other thread about Blood Manor. That place totally scared the living s!!! out of me. I will never go back!!!!

About Amityville....
Nobody lives there for more than a year since it happened...... that house is always up for sale. We used to dock our silbot in the Amityville Yacht club, right down that block & when you sail you kinda pass it. when we used to leave really early in the morning thee was always a fog over their back yard (no where else, just theirs) and always a small light coming from the attic (which supposedly is just a crawlspce with no electricity.)

Also a creepy place at night is the 'Quaker Meeting House in Old Bethpage'...totally creepy!

I always wanted to check out King's Park Psychiatric Center. My friend and I were going to go check it out a few years back, after seeing some pics on the internet but we never did go....Did you see the pics on the internet of what that place looks like now?

What old hospital in Long Beach?? Long Beach Medical Center is the only hospital I know of there is that it??

The old mental hospital I think it was off Monroe by Broadway.... I have heard thaat it is no a condo or co-op complex.

Yep. I know people who live two houses away, it has been occupied ever since I was born, same family and all. It's just a sad story that got completely blown out of proportion by the movies and the media.
