Not at all - I'm in the middle of a melt down!

I got it!! I can't fm back from work!!!!

I don't think there is a party YET before me....they said so far, I am the afternoon party, unless someone books the 12??

My CH is starting at 6 officially, but I managed to push it to 530 - 7 since we will be coming straight from the church, which is at 3 and over at 4/430 ish......they said they generally open the doors a few min earlier anyway!

I wanted to move my ceremony from 6:30 to 6:15. When I booked, I was told that my choices were 11-4, 6-11:30 or 6:30 - 12. I had them put in my Contract that I could be on premises for purposes of photography at 4:30 because I read on an old review that they told the bride they could come in earlier for photos and then cancelled on her last minutes. So now....I just found out that the wedding before me was over at 5:30. Which brings up several issues. The first being, I'm going to be walking around this other bride's wedding for an hour at least. How would you feel about that? I know I wouldn't be too happy. Are they getting all of her guests out of there on time so that none of them are there when my guests arrive?

If anyone has had to deal with this, please let me know which way I should go with this.

ummmmmmmmmm this is an issue.....

what happens now If someone books before me? my CH starts at 6 OFFICIALLY but when they have the champagne and strawberries in the waiting room before the CH opens, are they going to be with other guests from the previous party!?!!?!!?

I have No idea....


call NRC and ask, what time does the other party officially end? If it was 11-4 and the other party is done at 4:00, then you should be totally fine for pics but why is it 530?????

Have you called them to discuss this? I specifically called to ask what time I'm allowed in since there is a wedding before me, and they said 6pm.

Ok I am going to use mine as an example....

Just called Maryanne and she said that, my party 'officially' starts at 6, which means the party before me will be out by 430.....so far, nobody is scheduled for the morning/lunch slot but if someone does book it, their party will be over at 430......

now, she said that we allow brides to come in a 1/2 hour earlier for pics.....so in your case, if your ceremony is 630, you would be allowed on there at 6 for pics. She said that it depends the time of the first party booking. Since I was the first one to book that day, I got to pick the time and the second party will work around me. Do you know if the first party was booked beofre you?

call again and ask to speak to George and see if there is anything he can do hun!!

On the positive note, she did say that generally, earlier parties don't generally mingle at the hall, once the cake is out, people eat and leave since most people will have a party or after party anyway....so maybe your party will be gone by 5?

I really don't know since we don't have the same time booked. Best bet I would say is go in person and speak to George. Tell him what you were told and voice your concerns. he may be able to work something out???
