Hi Brides! I have an etiquette question for you... a few people have sent us checks already that are not coming to the wedding, and the wedding is still a month away. I always feel it's kind of annoying to hold on to (and not cash) checks for a while, but I also feel weird cashing them before the wedding. Has anyone experienced this? What is the more appropriate (etiquette acceptable) thing to do? THANKS!!!!

Re: gift checks received in advance of the wedding?
I would personally cash the checks now. It really annoys me when a person/store ect. takes forever to cash them.

I know it really aggravates me when people dont cash my checks right away. I feel like if they didn't want you to cash them they would have just sent it to you after your wedding
