today i rec'd a check from a friend that can't make it to the wedding. so do i send a handwritten thank you now or wait until i send out all my thank you when i get my pics back??

I think etiquette says to send a quick thank you now and another 'nice picture' one after the wedding.

i would at least send an email or give a call and let her know you will send a TY after the wedding......

i am hoping i get a few of those too lol so far noone has! lol

Send an informal TY now, just to let them know you received the check and then send a picture one later.

I would immediately send a thank you out and also when you send your 'real' thank you notes after the wedding.

i asked the same ? a few weeks ago and eveyone told me to send a TY now and one again later w/ pic.

I got realy pretty TYs at target.
