What is everyone going to do about there envelopes that you get at your wedding? I was thinking that I would buy a basket, and some ribbon, tulle, and some rose petels at a craft store and make the gift basket myself......not sure though yet....

thats why ppl make a card box....and the guests can just put their envelopes in the box if im not mistaken

here are sample card boxes...you can buy something like this and people can just 'drop in' their card/gift/envelope to you...hope that helps
I made a huge, four level wedding cake box, and hot glued about 600 shells on it, it will go on a pedestal that the RH is supplying us with, it has a slot up top for all of the cards, and each layer is hot glued together so when we leave its all in one piece and it will then be secure where nothing can fall out while transporting, nothing can get taken or lost.

i just bought a cardbox on ebay for like $25n - you should search on there, they have a pretty good selection

Nothing - We will probably keep them in the bridal suite or something. I personally hate the idea of having a card box or bag. I've never been to a wedding where they did that.

I was talking to someone who used to work at a catering hall and they had problems with the wait staff taking the cards. He said he loves the idea of the boxes. I was surprised to hear something like this....not that this will happen but now it makes sense to keep them secure.

We made a card box to look like a 3 tiered wedding cake. It was pretty easy to do.
If not, then I will make a moneybag from one of my grandma's handmade lace tablecloths.

I have yet to get a picture yet but since we are doing a vineyard themed wedding my Grandma found a 5 gallon oak barrel and we had them cut off the top and put a handle on it.........it really looks cute......I think that I am going to have FH burn our names and date into the wood though......
