Am I supposed to get a gift for my friend who is doing a reading at the church? It's getting out of control with the gifts already!

We did, but they were our godparents....for the men we just did a bottle of wine, and for my godmother I got her a brooch at Macy's....something small is fine!

Yes, we are. I just think it's a nice gesture for someone who was a part of your special day. It doesn't have to be extravagant.. Just a little something!

I will try to get something for everyone but when I was a reader at my friend's wedding I didn't get anything so I don't think it's 100% necessary.

we got them gift cards to barnes and noble...its a nice way to say thank you, esp if they are OOT and have to come up early for the rehearsal
