Gift for a second wedding

Gift for a second wedding

What would you give as a gift to a couple that are in their 60s getting married for the second time (one is divorced and the other a widow). It is a daytime wedding- not sure if that matters.
I feel strange gving cash, but if we do how much is appropriate? Or anyone have any good gift ideas? They dont appear to be registered.

the rule of thumb is that you are supposed to give enough to cover your plate.... so guestimate and just give them $.

I dunno. A wedding is a wedding IMO. I'd give cash.

I'd probably stick with cash unless it was mentioned that the couple preferred gifts

i dont know... if they are in their 60s i think youre kinda talking a different ballgame. i dont know if cash is necessarily the only way to go. i think they may appreciate something sentimental like an engraved album or vase or something, a memory book, a wedding throw with their names and wedding date embroidered, something along those lines... maybe check out thingsremembered.com ?

It was my DH's second time around too and we definitely appreciated the cash!!

A wedding is a wedding no matter how old someone is or how many times they've been married. Id still give the same amount of cash as would for any other wedding. IMO, its an insult to the couple if you don;t

a wedding is a wedding...I agree w/ the cash idea. I feel like you always need to cover the your plate.
