I am wondering what kind of gift do I give the deacon that is marrying us. He is my fathers long time friend and is coming to the wedding. Do we make a donation to his church (he is marrying us at my church) or give him a monetary gift etc.?

were giving our priest $100... hes part of the extended family, they can always donate the money if they dont want it
