Anyone have ideas for a man who has no hobbies except complaining and rarely goes out? This is by far my biggest challenge.....

He's very big into all things 'Irish' so maybe something from the Irish goods store or a GC to an Irish restaurant......

I was thinking that there is a lot of Irish crystal, and you could get him a beer stein. I googled it, and ebay had an irish porcelain one: This one is nice, but I bet if you look more you could fine others.
Wow you must be marring my uncle because that sounds just like my grandfather. You know you can't go wrong with clothes. Or maybe a picture frame of his son when he was a boy (first communtion, gradution day from kindergardern, or just in diapers) to a picture of him in his Tux for the wedding. That is a very touching gift.

You know there is a store in Port Jeff that sells all kinds of irish art, clothes, jewlury, and nick nacks. Its really easy to get to. Take the LIE to exit 63, go north on route 83, take that to 112, make a left. (there will be light at 112 its a bit down.) To take 112 all the way down, you'll be going into the villege of Port Jeff. Go to the end of 112 and on the left hand side at the corner is the Irish store. They should have something there he would love!
