OK so I was all set to get FH a custom suit from Alton Lane but then I found out no one going to his bachelor party wanted to go sky diving with him....
So I got the suit idea from watching 'The LIttle Couple' (I'm not even kidding) I like the suit idea because they measure you with their fancy machine and you pick the fabrics and all... he has super long arms and legs and by the time he buys a suit and then gets it altered it costs that much anyway so why not give him the fun experience. (In my mind it seems like a fun experience) He always has to wear suits for work and with my ridiculously huge family we're always going to have some sort of wedding and we're super huge dorks so we get all dolled up to go to the ballet and whatnot. So he'll get use out of it. That's my rationale on that....
The other idea was to pay for him to go sky diving. He realllllly wants to go, talks about it all of the time and it was going to be part of his bachelor party but all of his friends chickened out (apparently they only want to go to Vegas for the booze, gambling and naked women). I just feel like the sky diving is a one shot deal then it's done but the suit he'll have for much longer.
I just want to do something really nice for him, he's so friggin good to me and I'm not always a walk in the park I know you're all probably shocked by that

Re: Gift for FH... help me choose!!!!!!!!!
honestly, i wouldn't be ok with my FH going skydiving (i'd be too scared that something would go wrong) ... so i'd stick with the suit.
however, i know it's really safe (as safe as jumping out of a plane can be lol) so if you're not worried about that, then go for it ... i think it's a gift he'll enjoy more.

LOL it makes me want to puke and I told him if he came home with a broken leg from Vegas I would remove the cast myself on our wedding day. I'm just trying not to be a worry wart. My mom always freaked out when my dad wanted to do anything 'dangerous' so I'm just doing my best to grin and give a 'go ahead honey' on this one...

I'd do the suit for the reason you said already... he'll have it for a long time after.
You can always do the skydving thing as an anniversary gift or something, I don't think it's quite as expensve as the suit (?) but that might be a pro or a con depending on your budget at the moment.
