Ok, so I've got a double wammy here. We're getting married in just over two weeks and I don't have any ideas for a gift for my man. The real kicker is that our wedding day is also his birthday.
So I have to come up with two really great ideas not just one.
The two things I know he really really wants - a dog, and a drum set are not possible due to current living arrangements and believe me I've tried to make it happen. We're pretty untraditional people so a watch, or other traditional gift won't do.
What sort of gifts are you ladies giving your future husbands. I'm looking for some creative ideas to spark something in my wedding addled brain.

if i could afford either, FH would get a big, flat screen tv or a hot tub.
instead -- he likes to smokes cigars with his boys on special occassions so i am gettnig really nice cigars with personalized bands and surprising him the day of.
also surprising him with a groom's cake at the RD.
and, i will probably get something moderately priced that he can actually open on the day of later on.
other things i've heard of:
season tix to a fave sports team tix to a concert other electronic equipment (ipod, xbox, etc...) golf clubs

My FH is pretty non-traditional too. I was thinking maybe awesome tickets to a sporting event or concert. Maybe some electronics type thing. Gift Certificate for Harrahs or Borgata in Atlantic City. Maybe a poker table...something along those lines.

My hubby-to-be is a really big wine fan... so I ordered a nice 36-bottle wine rack off williams-sonoma. To help fill it, I also got a nice personalized wooden wine box that reads 'For my Husband, John' and our wedding date, and a really nice bottle of wine (100$+) to go inside.

i got my husband a digital camera, but i asked Best Buy for the greatest one they had. came with the big zoom lens and stuff like that. Dave really loves his 'toys' so he was thrilled, and plus, we got awesome pics on our honeymoon. now he can customize it by buying attachments.

I want to give my FH laser eye surgery before the wedding as an early gift. That way on our wedding day he won't need glasses EVER again! You know you could always give him something for the bedroom that he might love. Have you heard of the love swing? check it out!

I am in a similar situation. FH's b-day is a week before our wedding.
I am thinking of getting a Flat Panel LCD TV which he has been drooling over for a while.
I am going to be pretty broke, so thank God for 12 months same as cash from Circuit City!

Does he have an Ipod. My FH wants one so bad and his b-day is next week but we are trying to save. The new Nano starts around $199 I think
