Gift for Godmother to give at Baptism

Hi all. I just found out I'm going to be godmother to my niece Katie and I'm beyond thrilled.

I just had a question re: gift.
They already have the christening gown (in my sis-in-law's family), so besides a bond, what is the standard for the godmother/father to give? Is it a rosary or cross necklace or ?

yes, a cross is appropriate. Or maybe a nice baptism statue - like from Lladro ($$) or Lenox?

I think you should get the baby a cross necklace. This is something that is very special that they will have forever!

You can always get a baby bible. I did that for one of my co-workers and they loved it.
