Gift Ideas

I know this has been asked before but here goes..I just found out that one of my close friends is pregnant and I want to get her something special/different, etc
Any ideas?

Is this her first?

I got my gf that infamous book 'what to expect when you're expecting' , a baby journal, and a Baby's first picture frame.. She LOVED it.. almost broke down in tears!! I also found this cute baby card, which was of the unborn baby congratulating his/her momma!

Another thing that I was going to do but didn't cause she is a picky eater was make her a basket of food she can eat..

Get her a basket filled with massage oils, aroma therapy stuff, candles. Stuff like that. Also you can throw in a yearly subscription to Parents or the other parenting mags out there. Sorry I don’t know much about that yet.
Also a baby’s first year time capsule would be nice. Someone got that for her baby shower at work and she broke down crying. All the women were in tears including myself.

I think the oils are a great idea just be careful... her sense of smell is heightened and they may make her feel sick especially if she has MS. You could get her a GC for a pregnancy massage, ped. (because she wont be able to reach her feet soon), basket of snacks (CRACKERS)...
