gift ideas for MOB and FOB

gift ideas for MOB and FOB

Does anyone have any unique/original ideas for a mother of the bride and father of the bride gift? I'm the only daughter and I usually am creative, but I need some help. I don't want the typical picture frame or hankie... any suggestions?

I'm tossing around ideas myself for gifts for them. I was thinking of maybe getting my mom a hoodie that says 'Mother of the Bride', and my dad a hat that says 'Father of the Bride'. I can see both of them wearing these things.

do they have any hobbies? maybe a small vacation for them?

I wanted something a little more than a hoodie and a little smaller than a small vacation...maybe a Lladro for mom and dad... or something from waterford for both??? I wanted to get my dad a little piggy bank as a reminder to him of all of the money he will be saving after i get married...

Lladro's are really nice. I wanted to get my mom the Lenox Mother/daughter statue, but i waited too long. My rehearsal is tomorrow and i still need to get them something else. I got them a gift certificate to Tavern on the Green. They are going to a Broadway show the week after the wedding (i got them the tickets for Christmas). Not sure of what smaller meaningful thing to get them though.
