Gift ideas for the Bridal party?

I gave each of my BM's a terry robe that I had embroidered with a flower and their name. I also made up gift baskets from Bath and Body works. They were a big hit!! For the guys we got them watches. Good Luck Lisa

Gift ideas for the Bridal party?

You could have soooooooo many options for bridal party gifts. I haven't exactly picked my gift yet but I kind of want it to be a reflection of my personality...You could give jewelry they can wear on your wedding day in a very pretty keepsake box (I have received this before and loved it!!) or you could give picture frames. Try doing a search on the Internet for bridesmaids gifts. I guess it all really depends on how many you have and how much money you have to spend on each one. Good Luck. Let us know what you decide.

Gift ideas for the Bridal party?

We bought the girls pretty jewelry boxes from Bombay & Co. And while we were at it, we decided to buy out the rest of the store & bought the guys clocks (a different one for each guy) - in order to symbolize the fact that their friendship stands the test of time.

Gift ideas for the Bridal party?

I gave my girls silver plated make-up brushes (at www.marilynskeepsakes.com) with their names embroidered on the case and I also got them jewelry to go with the dresses. And I was lucky enough to have a friend of a friend who loves to sew and made purses to go with the bridesmaid dresses. Each girl had a different design. The guys got a leatherman (rugged, multi-tool) that we had engraved and a pilsner glass with their initial engraved.

Gift ideas for the Bridal party?

Great ideas...I love the terry robe and bath supplies... what we are thinking...The GM always play cards together and drink scotch...so we thought we would get them a nice bottle of scotch(they drink Johnnie walker) and a deck of cards...That is about $100. So I found my BM dresses at a wholesale company for $110..So I may buy them that...and then a guy on my corner sells necklaces and jewelry for $10/set...I may get them something to wear on the wedding? (I don't not want to have a gift for them at the rehersal dinner)

Oops, hit send before I wrote anything! I got my bridesmaids sterling silver chains with a diamonique pendant & matching earrings from QVC.com -- my MOH had a different pendant than my BM's, but the earrings were all the same. For my Jr. Bridesmaid & Flowergirl I got them 14K chain w/amythest pendant. For the BM & Ushers, we got them Fossil watches, and we got our Ringbearer a 14K chain w/a Christ Head.

We are in the process now, and ...

so far we bought our guys a coach wallet and the best man a coach planner. I'm planning on getting the girls a tiffany bracelet and a 5x7 picture frame (they will be getting a 5x7 picture after the wedding too)and maybe a hair clip that matches mine for their hair. For my flower girl - I'm thinking a wedding barbie and doll house and my ring bearer - clueless. I thought a nice train set - but will see. (Both the kids are family, so I don't mind spending a little extra on them). Love the ideas though - I think I may use the manicure one for the girls -- if my FH doesn't kill me for spending MORE money! :-) and Yabbobay, my guy's friends are drinkers too - that's a great idea.

What I did...

For my bridesmaids (who were all first cousins of mine), I bought amethyst necklaces to wear on the day of the wedding, and gave it to them when we all went for their final fittings together. Because my maid of honor was wearing the same dress as my bridesmaids, I bought her a different necklace - a pearl necklace (real - we are extremely close) to wear on the day of the wedding - this way, she wore pearls and matched me, which separated her out slightly. The ushers, my husband bought each of them a different gift, according to their tasts and/or hobbies - one got an engraved desk clock, one got an engraved pen from Tiffany's (this usher was my brother), one got an engraved pocket watch, and I don't remember what the other one got. Flower girl - I bought her a smaller version of the same necklace I bought my bridesmaids - a real amethyst, but for a child. Ring bearers (my cousins' children) - I bought both boys the same fossil watch - it was cool, and they LOVED them!

What I did...

For the bridesmaids I'm making a 'Through the Years' scrapbook for each of them. I have been friends with each of them for 10+ years so I have some hysterical pictures of us and will add stories about the events depicted. I will probably add some kind of jewelry when we decide on a dress. As for the guys, we still have no clue...but I like some of the ideas posted. Good luck!

We are in the process now, and ...

We got the girls pearl bracelets with diamond accents. For the guys we are getting Land's End embroidered duffle bags. For the flower girl we got a diamond cross. For the ring beareres we got them carved baseball bats. They are gret, regulation size, our last nmae where the logo would go and the child's name and our wedding date are engraved on it as well. They can use them or display them, that will be the parents decision.

Gift ideas for the Bridal party?

For the bridesmaids, we are going to give jewelry to wear on the wedding day. For the groomsmen, we were thinking of sterling silver key rings from Tiffany engraved with initials.

We got our guys pocket watched from Things Remembered with their initials engraved on them. The Best Man also got a flask. I got the my girls sliver necklaces- the ones that are hard and sit on your collar bone- that had a circular charm on it with their initials. I got my maid of honor a sliver tea set too. We got a watch for the ring bearer and a charm braclet for the flower girl with a flower charm on it. You really can't go wrong- it is the thought that counts :)
