Would you be upset if someone in your wedding party (who just got married a couple months before you and you were in their wedding party) gave you $100 less then you gave them after you spent a lot more money prior to their wedding (i.e. traveling, dress costs, hotels, etc.)?

No, it wouldn't bother me at all. Everyone has different financial responsibilites than others. Wouldn't even phase me ;)

To be honest the whole concept of comaring and equalizing really irks me...people have different ideas of what they can afford and what is appropriate and I think you should be happy w/ what your comfortable with giving regardless of what you get back...saying you gave me this so I'll give you that is kind silly in my opinion...sorry that sounds kind of harsh, it wasn't meant that way but that is just my opinion
