Gift question

I got married a month ago and there are a handful of people who did not give us gifts. I know that technically people have 1 year but there are 2 friends that I am really surprised at that did not give us a gift or card. I know that I should not expect gifts but I have to say that I am really surprised about these two girls.

One of these girls asked me last minute if she could bring a guest and I said yes.

Okay, my question is should I ask them if they gave us a card or just forget about it?

I would say to just leave it... honestly, nothing good can come from it! Luckily there were only a few ignoramuses who did this, there are a few at EVERY wedding.
So as hard as it is just keep silent for now. As long as you know you didn't lose cards, there's really nothing to say... It will only stress you out, and you never know, she/they MAY be planning on doing something 'belated' for you, so it could be really awkward.
I already know (i think) who the no-giftees will be at mine, but there's always room for another surprise or two!!!! On the plus side there are many of our friends and relatives who MOOOOORE than pass themselves so i don't mind the couple of philistines so much...
