Gift Return Fun

Off to Macys to return my Waterford flutes, I registered for 2 and I got 6. I am returning all 6 though, I have my toasting flutes and I want my goblets.

Then going to BBB to return a pot.

But what do I do with the 12, yes 12, vases I got for my wedding/engagement, or the 5 cake dishes I got... none of which have gift receipts. I think at least 5 of them were regifts, which I would never do.

If all else fails, you can donate them to St. Vincent DePaul and take a tax deduction!

Sounds fun!!! The extra vases and cake dishes without gift receipts you can always donate or bring to a consignment shop.

Thanks but they are Waterford and Lenox and Tiffany... worth to much to just give away with everything we need to buy. But seriously as nice as they are who needs 5 Waterford Vases?

BBB will give you store credit if you don't have a receipt...try to see if they carry them there?

OH wait I just saw this! EBAY!!! People sell this stuff on there all the time. You can probably get a decent amount back for something you're not going to use anyway!

Tiffanys will definitely take it back even without a receipt.

The waterford and lenox ones I would see if Macys or Bloomingdales carry them. At the very least, you'll get a store credit.

How did your Macy's return go? I got a gift and the pitcher was broken and the person that got the gift for me took the receipt so I don't know how I'm going to return it to Macy's - GRRRR
