An old co-worker of mine from my part time summer job is finally 'retiring'. (We both worked there for 9 years). When I stopped working there to teach full time she got me a 'teaching' gift (a DVD of school house rock). I really want to get her a special gift without breaking the bank. She's going to be working as a Guidance Counselor. I want to spend around $25.

What about like personalized desk accesories. I know Things Remembered carries a lot of nice thing like that

Ditto. When I left my last job, my managers all chipped in and bought me an Amex gift card. I think they thought I'd have to go clothes shopping, since all we wore were jeans and sneakers, lol. Too bad that's all I still wear to work
