gift/ thank you question

Someone's post made me think of this....

If a guest doesn't give you a gift, will you still send them a thank you for attending?

And I was wondering....
I received gifts with some of the NO responses 3 weeks - 1 month ago, should I send the thank you's out now or wait until after the wedding when I'm sending them to everyone?

If we get a no-gifter, I'm sure we'll wind up sending a thank you anyway

For the gifts that we got ahead of time, we sent regular thank you's now and are going to send the 'official' one with our favor, when we get them.

I had 2 no gifters, I'm going to send them a thank you card.

We're going to send thank you cards to the people who sent gifts but didn't come at the same time that we send all the other thank yous out.

its funny you ask this...
when we originally got the no gifts we thought no way are we sending a thank you card. however, now that we ordered them we realized we do want to send a thank you in hopes that it jogs their memory and maybe they now send a gift.

we plan to be very vague in the card and write something like:
We are so glad you were able to come to our wedding!
Love P&D

the words 'thank you' will NOT be written anywhere on their cards

We sent thank yous to everyone that gifted or did not after the wedding. HTH!

This but I think I didn't have any no gifters. What I did have was envelopes with $100 for 3 guest.
