Gift to Groom

Gift to Groom

FH wants to give each other gifts the day of the wedding and he got mine already and spent about $100 bucks so it isn't massive but I have NO idea what to get him.. I was thinking a wedding was good enough but he loves to give gifts so if that is what he wants to do OK.

I wanted to get him a really nice pair of Ray Ban sunglasses but am afraid if I give them to him he will use for the honeymoon & then I am worried he will lose them. Oy.. Any ideas?

hmm.. I am doing boudoir photos and hopefully if I can swing it, a breitling. How about cufflinks? great seats to a game or a concert? book an excursion for your honeymoon cruise?

I was thinking of boudoir photos but if he spent $100 I wanted to stay in the same range and that would probably cost more. Cufflinks he got for the wedding, we plan on doing Comic Con in October so there wouldn't be anything like that he would be interested in and the same for excursion would really be for both of us..

I think the Ray Bans are a great idea :)

Go with the sun glasses. At least he'll get a lot of use out of them.

I love the Ray Bans idea also!

But what about a new cologne? Kind of like how they tell brides to buy a new perfume so that when they smell it it reminds them of their wedding day maybe you could do that for him? Then when you smell him you will think of it too haha I don't know if they do this but maybe have the bottle engraved with your date if its possible?

That is a cute idea but FH doesn't wear cologne otherwise that would be perfect!

I really think I might just do the Ray Bans. As much as I am worried about losing on the honeymoon, I will just keep an eye on them. He wants to exchange on the morning of the wedding, is that a lame gift to give to him since it isn't technically 'wedding' related?

I am getting my FH tickets to a couple of Mets games. He is a big fan so I can get him a package that includes 8 games. It is the gift that keeps giving unless they lose. (I'm a Yankee Fan)
