Gifts for future hubby

for those giving gifts what are you giving and when?

I know I am going to give it to his mom or sister to give to him before he leaves for church with a special card, I just dont know what to get

so if anyone has ideas or wants to share please do

Im getting him a big screen tv. Probably give it to him after HM. I like to make him wait for things LOl

Michael would be in heaven with that gift

he will have to wait to we come back from honeymoon and check out ficances for his Big Flat Screen TV.

I got my FI a big screen for an engagement gift - so what do I need to buy him for a wedding gift? A Lexus? LOL

I have NO IDEA and would love to hear everyone elses ideas too

I was going to give him a really nice watch- either a TAG or something- but he told me that timex does the same thing! (I had it planned to- Best Man to give it to him before he leaves for church w/ nice card)....

So after thinking TV- Stereo system- jet ski (ha!)
He plays guitar and has always wanted a really nice Les Paul. So, that's what I'm going to get him- not sure when or how I'm going to give it to him.
I just wanted something that wouldn't eventually have to be replaced.

I have no idea what to get my FH. I have to live with him awhile to decide what I'm going to get him. He doesn't wear any jewlery so a necklace or a watch is out.

But he is heavy into sports, especially baseball and football. So if you have any suggestions please let me know.

Just don't suggest tickets, cause he works for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and he sometimes works the Bucs games, so it would be silly to get him tickets.

Lmissb-
does he have a favorite player? Pehaps a jersey or a signed baseball? My Father started a collection of baseballs signed by the old guys -Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantel (maybe only the old yankees!)

Wacky - that's a great idea!! LOL, believe me, if I had the $$, he'd be getting it because he deserves it

I got my FH a Movado for engagement... I kinda wish I held it off for the wedding, but we had a deal, if I got the ring, he'd get the watch! haha! I think a nice watch is a great idea!

My future hubby has his eye on a Movado and a Tag. But a big screen TV he would love! Maybe I could get someone to put it in our place when we are on the honeymoon...hmmmm

mv1003 - I was thinking a Les Paul also! I think he would have a fit if I spent that much money though, but once he sees it, he can't be mad for long! I just have to grill his friends to find out exactly which one he wants!

I would love to get him a Tag or hmm - there's another name of a watch he says all the time and right now I can't remember. But then I was thinking about a bracelet. He wears a yellow gold bracelet now but his wedding band is in white gold. So I saw was thinking about getting him a silver or white gold bracelet to match. I saw one in the Tiffany's catalog, but I have no idea how it looks in person. Otherwise I will just keep looking. I was also thinking about engraved cuff links.

Bottom line - I don't know LOL, but those are all my ideas I am toying with!

Since my FI doesn't wear jewelry other than his wedding ring (so he promisses) I will get him a Movado or a tag watch. He will have that for a long time and wear it alot also.

I was struggling to think of something fun and creative but then I decided to go with tradional cufflinks from Tiffany's. I know it is not the most exciting ggift but I think it is one that he will have for a long time and will think of our wedding when he wears them.
