My family has a tradition when someone passes away we buy angel pins which we wear to the wake and during the last goodbyes we each take our pins and put it on the person who passed and they are buried with them. My Aunt passed away about 2 yrs ago suddenly @ the age of 42 and ever since everyone has been very sad I found this angel and thought it would be a nice gift to my aunts . Also I would like to give it during my bridal shower but I dont know when it is or do you think I should wait till after and send it with my shower thank you's? Sorry so long !

I would do it with the shower thank yous -- Even though its a beautiful thought to remember her and make her part of your day despite the fact she couldn't be there--I personally would be nervous about upsetting your aunts on a happy day for you.

oh....that is sooo nice. My recommendation is to give it at a time that is not associated with either your shower, nor wedding. I have found that this can be very upsetting.....and the contrast in emotions can be a bit much.
Can you give it to them a time before your wedding, separately?

I think that is a very touching thought. IMO I wouldn't mail it. I would give it in person. Maybe you can give them to your mom to hold onto and tell her to bring them with her to the shower.

That is such a beautiful and meaningful gift. I would give them theirs at the rehearsal or after the shower. Either way they will be very touched
