Gifts for non-bridal party relatives??

Should I be thinking of gifts for our non-bridal party relatives like our parents and siblings? I have 1 sister and he has 5 brothers and sisters. I have my father and stepmother (whom I'm not close with) and he has his parents.

I've always thought of the gift thing as an appreciation gesture for the help given to you during your wedding planning, and for the BM's and Ushers bc we all know it costs money to be in a bridal party. I don't think everyone needs a gift just bc they are relatives, unless they helped out financially or otherwise with the planning.

We are giving our parents embroidered handkerchiefs that we purchased from a website http://www.lil-inspirations.com/

I had the date and their 'title' Father of the bride. Etc.

Our parents are oldfashioned so I think they will appreciate them. The only thing is - it seems like such a small gift for them - I would like to do something more - but we a quickly running out of money.

I didn't go so far as to buy for my siblings, but I did buy for my parents and my inlaws and gave them out at the rehearsal dinner. Make A Memory in Mineola had great gifts...poems, memory boxes, etc. You should check them out. They are on Jericho turnpike. The only drawback is you have to order really early...my stuff took a long time to come in.
