What are you getting your parents as gifts? My future MIL is the most jealous women in the world.. but ya know what except for the fact she is having a huge rehersal dinner for us and it's only because she's inviting everyone from her family, everyone from out town.... I need to get my mother something more b/c she is busting her butt and hitting their pockets a ton..
any input?? any ideas?

gifts for parents
Why not get your Mom a pair of earrings to wear for the wedding? Your FMIL does not need to know about them. It is something for you and your Mom. Or you can get her a ring with your birthstone and her birthstone in it. Or you can also get her a Tiffany picture frame for your wedding photo.
I am getting my mom. stepmom and MIL mother handchiefs. They have a pretty poem on them. Since we are paying for 99.9% of the wedding ourselves I do not feel like we need to spend a ton more on gifts too. But I want to get them each something special to keep.

My parents are doing more for the wedding and ...
My FH and I want to buy my mom the necklace she is wearing to the wedding and my dad a watch (we'll probably engrave it). We are also getting them their parent album (and his parents - both sets) but we are getting my parents a 16X24 size potrait of the family as well.
I plan to write my parents a wonderful card and poem and toast them at the rehearsal dinner!
I know what you mean about jealous in-laws!
