Gifts for Parents

I am in need of help.

I don't know what to get my parents as a nice thank you gift. I want something that is from the heart.

Any suggestions????

I plan to wrap a picture frame and then put a letter in that we are paying for their album.

My FH and I talked about this and we are not getting them anything.

What we WILL do is get them something from our honeymoon in Europe...something different that we know they will like.

The main reason is, I didnt realize people get their parents gifts!!!

What I have seen is that people are getting them thier parents book from the wedding.

One of my FAV'S was someone got a frame with them and their papernts when the bride was a child, and in the same frame a pix at the wedding of bide/groom and parents.

I have sen brides get monogramed hankies.

I have also seen couples get them something they WANT and need (computer, new digital camera)

If yur parents are electronically inclined and they dont have a digital camera get them one so they have it for the wedding.

We got both of our mom's earrings from Thomas Knoell. Then we are getting both sets of parents engraved 8x10 picture frames from Things Remembered.

i think the nicest gift i've seen that was really heartwarming was a photobook made on snapfish or one of those sites. it could be pictures of you growing up with them and then putting a message on the last page thanking them for all they have done for you over the years and how much they mean to you.. i thought that was really nice.
