My rehearsal dinner is next week. I don't have gifts for my parents yet (or his). I'm completely stumped. Do I go with those hankies?? I can't seem to find one with a poem I like!! My money is really getting low with the final payments due soon, and I can't really spend a lot. Any suggestions???? Anyone NOT do parent gifts?
Thanks!

Re: Gifts for Parents. HELP!
GIfts for our parents are MOG, MOB, FOG and FOB hankies, the parent wedding album and a frame for each set parents to put our picture in. I also brought my dad a special frame for him. Here is the frame I brought my dad. Here are pictures of the MOG and FOG hankie that we brought. (The MOB and FOB is the same except it says FOB and MOB).
We got our parents each a gift certificate to their favorite restaurant, the mom's the hankies with the poem and for my dad cufflinks and his dad a barware set (he's not wearing a tux...don't ask ).
Good luck!!!

Re: Gifts for Parents. HELP!
Sonia, I am also doing the same thing but instead of framing it, I am putting it on cardstock and the attaching a piece of vellum with a picture of each of us with a parents when we were little. It is hard to explain. When it is done I will post it.

Re: Gifts for Parents. HELP!
We're buying each of the moms pins, since they don't want boutinerres. I'm not sure what we're getting the guys.
Something sentimental, with thought put into it, will mean more than anything expensive. The pin I'm getting my stepmother cost $7! It's sterling silver and I bought it at a thrift shop, but I boxed it nicely (it's worth more I'm sure), and it's of her favorite flower....I'd never seen anything so perfect before.
