Re: Gifts for Readers
I am not going to give gifts. I don't think it is necessary.

Re: Gifts for Readers
WE got both of our readers gift certificates for $25. MY aunt is getting Barnes & Nobles and his cousin is getting the outback.

Re: Gifts for Readers
Is it common NOT to give a gift to readers? I thought it was standard to give them a gift.

Re: Gifts for Readers
Well, honestly, I wasn't too familiar with any kind of tradition for that at the time (I am now though). But, I know they truly appreciated the cards, and I felt okay with it.

Re: Gifts for Readers
our readers are 1 grandma and 2 uncles... grandma already would have a corsage...
were getting the 2 uncles bouteneires, and also giving them a frame($15 or less) and will give them a 5 x 7 to go in it.... we think its a nice idea since its our aunts/ uncles who dont have children of their own
