Any ideas for a good gift for readers. I have two readers and I really don't want to spend too much money.
I saw a post that one bride was giving Gift Certificates (sounds like a great idea), does anyone think this is impersonal?
TIA for any ideas and opinions!

Re: Gifts for Readers
We are getting bottles of Raphael wine for them. Easy, becasue we are getting married there, and it means something. But I think anyone would appreciate liquor, cigars or gift certificates over trinkets and frames... I don't think GC's are impersonal if you include a nice personalized note.

Re: Gifts for Readers
I got the female a Coach wristlet and we are getting the male a bottle of Johnnie Walker Black. I tried to oppose that, but FI says that's all he wants. I am actually re-gifting the Coach wristlet! I got it from a client for Xmas and I don't like it.

Re: Gifts for Readers
I got my one reader a nice jewlery set on overstock.com (total with shipping was about $28).
My two brothers were readers. They were much easier to shop for because they are both hunters, so I got them some new camo shirts and some hunting supplies.
If you're at a loss for ideas, a GC is always appreciated, IMO. I gave each of the boy kids in my bridal party, GC's to Sports Authority. I just had no ideas left at that point, and I needed something. They loved them :D

I dont want to spend too much either, so I am getting a small Barnes and Noble Gift Certificate and a bookmark. I would like to personalize the bookmarks. I thought it was an appropriate gift for a reader.
