Gifts & Honeymoon Question

I'm getting married on a Saturday and the night of the wedding we are staying in Manhattan at the Waldorf Astoria. Our flight for Greece leaves JFK at 3:50 on Sunday. So we don't have a lot of time to get ready for our trip and be at the airport on time. My question is for everyone who has the same situation as me, what are you doing with your gifts? My mom is freaking out that they are going to get lost and she is so mad at me that we are leaving on Sunday instead of Monday.

I would maybe give them to one of your parents to keep at their house in a safe until you come back?

I would see if you can give them to some one you trust (ie. parents/MOH) to bring back with them after the wedding and hold on to until you return.

Have your parents take them home for you...that is what we did.

My friend gave them to her mother to hold onto when the wedding was over...

I'd have my parents/FILs take them home with them. Though honestly, not so many people are going to bring actual gifts to the wedding. If they are getting you an actual gift, they'll probably send it or just bring cards. HTH!
