Gilrs, I need your help PLEASE.... repost BHB

Ok.. so a friend of mine has been going through a rough patch in her life and needs some help getting through it. She doesnt talk to too many people about her issues and when she does she feels like it doesn't get her anywhere...
I suggested going to see a Therapist a while ago.. its by no means a bad thing.
Sometimes I wish that I had a complete stranger to talk to withouth getting critizised or having someone taking sides or all that BS people in our everyday lives happen to give us.

Whatever...bottom line is that she is ready to go see a Dr. but doesn't know where to start. I would help her look but I'm from Queens and she is in Suffolk.

Does anyone know a good therapist in Suffolk?????
Please let me know..FM me if u dont want to post it.

Don't know if she is working and has insurance, but if she does, her insurance may cover it. Ask her to call her insurance company to see if (a) seeing a therapist/counselor is covered and (b) they can provide a list of people in her area she can schedule an appointment with.

Also, keep in mind that sometime 'counselors' are covered and 'therapists' are not. Whichever is available to her would suit her just fine.
