Gilrs that had a family member or friend marry them.....

Please if you can tell me where they went online to become ordained and how they had to go about it. My uncle is going to marry us but, what does he have to do???? Also was everything legal? I have heard certain places online arent excepted in certain towns, is this true? If so what did you do?

this was what we wanted to do initially, but after some research and considering there was so much uncertainty on the legality of it...we decided to hire an officiant. we love our officiant and can't wait for her to preside at our ceremony. check her out, she's a vendor on here. pastor april from the church of ancient ways.

We did this...and our town did NOT accept the ordination...we found this out while applying for the marriage license...soooo what we did was have DH's sister perform the majority of the ceremony...and then our Town Clerk from the marriage license office came to do what was necessary to make it all legal...it actually worked out great...HTH!
