Do you have a back up plan for pictures if the weather is bad the day of your wedding?

I am so nervous about the weather being crappy and not being able to take pictures outside on the grounds of girogios. Its the only place i have planned for pictures right now. I know the inside is gorgeous too so i was just thinking of doing the pics inside the hall. what do you think?

I have the same problem...there is really no other palce I have booked for pictures. If its raining..I will just use the inside of Giorgios...if its drizzling.. I just may do pics outside with umbrellas. Not sure yet.

Re: Giorgio Brides

i think the wineres charge you and i really dont want to pay anymore money for pictures! lol

I was thinking i would definitly have umbrellas for backup. I am using Ken Hild Photography, he was one of the photographers giorgios recommended so i know he is very familair with the place, he said he can use the whole inside and get some great shots so im trusting in him but i just wanted to see if other brides were going somewhere else.

Omg so I just looked at this catering hall online and if it looks like how it looks in person, it is gorgeous, I don't know why I never thought of this place...And it is pretty reasonable which is awesome!!!! I hope you have a beautiful day because the grounds and ocean is gorgeous!!!!! I wish you the best wedding day ever :)

Re: Giorgio Brides

i drove around near giorgios today and I found two possible wineries that are around 3-4 miles away. Roanoke and Palmer vineyards. These are both East of Giorgios. There was also another smaller vineyard which was the closest but still east of giorgios but I forgot its name!

OMG this causes me SO much anxiety!!!!! This is my biggest fear!

I'm not paying anymore for pictures, but I'm using Ken Hild (who btw is amazing) and he assured me that he can get amazing pictures from the inside. I'm just going to have to pray that it's a nice sunny day for ALL of us!

Now on a positive note, since all of us will have sunshine - where are you taking your pictures OUTSIDE?!

*Giorgio's grounds (obviously)
*Giorgio's beach
*horse stables
*windmill
*there's a field right near the windmill which has some nice grass and looks like wheat or something, that will be cool for pics...I'm sure I'll come up with more places too

Both are on the corner when you turn in by the Giorgio's sign off Sound Ave....there are pics of a bride and groom at the stables and in front of the windmill on the photo montage they showed us when we had our appointment there to book.
