Hi all, my name is Samantha and my FH is Hasan. We are planning on getting married sometime in October.
We are having trouble finding a venue ...looked at some places they were priced well but we are still curious to see whats out there. I am taking a look at Giorgio's on Friday with my mom. I have heard such great things about it. However, I am nervous because I don't want to get my heart broken. Like everyone else we are on a budget and I don't want to walk into Giorgio's fall in love with it and then realize we can't afford it.
To give you an example, we went to a venue the other day and was priced $120 a head for an October wedding on a Sunday ..I almost fell off my chair! Does anyone know anything about Giorgio's, would they be just as much for a sunday wedding?
Any answers are greatly appreciated :)

Hi, I went to Giorgio's and loved it. It was the first place I looked at. I plan on getting married May 26, 2013 its a sunday night and the guy who I was talking to said he couldn't give me an exact price quote but it would be anywhere from 120-145pp thats before tax and gratuity. I nearly had a heartattack when he said that. I hope he gives you a better price for Oct. Good Luck!

Hi Samantha, im Jasmine. Im also getting married Oct 2013 on a Sunday. I never checked out Giorgio's but if the above quote is for a 2013 in May it prob is about the same for Oct as well because Oct is still considered a peak month for most plcs (something I quickly learned when I began my search). Did u ask for a price range when u called to schedule your appt? Some plcs dont discuss prices over phone, (which to me is highly annoying, like u I dont want to go to a plc and fall in love and cant aford it) but I found many plcs will give u atleast a price range. If you want FM me and I can give you some per person price ranges for some plcs I either called or went to view.

I'm getting married at Giorgio's!!! It is totally worth every penny. They are absolutely amazing there! And the price includes the cake...just remember that. A lot of places do not include a cake. Plus, it is one wedding at a time. That was a huge plus for me!! I don't know what they are charging for a Sunday in October....but I hope he gives you a great price. They are really really nice there!! Have you thought about pushing it back to November maybe? I think prices drop a little after October. October is part of the prime wedding season.

i was originally looking into getting married during the summer ...i am a beach girl love warm weather and the season. after some convincing i decided to at least go with october instead of the summer months because i know it would be a little less expensive. i can't see myself pushing it even further into the fall :(

Oct is still a peak month so maybe when you go to ur appts ask for both July and Oct prices and see if their is much of a dif.

I was looking for June and even on a Sunday--it was too expensive. But..go see what they have to say.. maybe they could work with the month for you.

I've never been to Giorgio, so i have no opinion on the hall....but if you want to check it out you should go. You never know what deal they will give YOU. Some places are really good and work with your budget. Maybe an afternoon instead of night wedding, or fri/sun instead of sat. Don't limit you halls because of $$ without talking to them first. Good luck!!!!

CRASHING!!!!
I'm getting married in August - on a Sunday - and the price is very reasonable.
There was a quote above of 145pp - that's insane. They didn't even quote me that much for a Sat. night. Maybe prices have changed, but that seems a bit much to me.
