GIORGIO'S - BAITING HOLLOW

Hi...We checked out Giorgio's today and we both loved it!!!!

I just wanted to get some feedback from previous and future Giorgio brides...

I have been there - it is beautiful - far, but beautiful! And i heard they are building hotels over there.

My brother had his wedding there in 98. I was wonderful. We loved the cocktail hour. They even had sushi! So much food. They even provided Guiness on draught at no extra charge. The landscape is gorgeous, pictures came out great.
Did you see the private suite for the bridal party to freshen up and enjoy h'orderves. I highly recommend it. It may be a bit pricey though. In 98 the had a sit down dinner on a friday for $65 a head!

Hi, We had my parents 25th wedding anniversary there 5 years ago, it was really good. The food and service were both excellent. Plus both the indoor and outdoor pictures came out really beautiful. I definitely would recommend them...

The place is beautiful. My parents threw my 30th Birthday party during the Sunday brunch and the food was great. My only one concern is that it is very, very far from even the LIE. I would be considered that my guests may have to drive very far late at night, after having a few drinks. Are there any hotels near?

Michele...thanks for your post. Ya know -- that is actually a very good question! I am not sure.

Does anyone know if there are any hotels in the area?? It is really *OUT* there in the middle of no where.

I just went to a friends reception there in May. It was a beautiful place and the food/service was very good. It was quite a ways out there, though. She blocked out rooms at the Best Western, recently changed from a Radisson I think, which is right next to the outlets. We were told it was the closest hotel. It was about a 10min drive to Giorgio's, all on back roads, not too bad.

We are getting married at Giorgio's this year. We just love the place and one of the reasons we picked it is because of its serene beauty and its off the beaten path--but there are hotels around..as someone posted you can block rooms at the Best Western in Riverhead, which used to be the Ramada--Giorgios has plans to build a resort on their property-but I dont know when its starting or going to be finished. It has been a pleasure working with Giorgio's..and we have heard such wonderful things about everything there, the service, good, staff..etc.
