I am officially a Giorgio's bride. My wedding will be Friday November 14, 2008. I am very excited! I am having a black and white wedding! The bridesmaids will be in black and I am thinking of using burgundy as the accent color for flowers. I was thinking mini cali-lillies.
Has anyone else been a Giorgio's bride or is planning on being one? I would love to chat with you to see what you thought of the whole place?

My FH and I are getting married at Giorgio's on Jan 2, 2009. It is really nice there. We walked in and new that it was were we wanted to get married. We fell in love with the place right away. Did you go to the Bridal showcase that was on Feb 11th? We went. We got to taste the food and see there venders. The food was great. I am so looking forward to getting married there. My Fh loves those calla lilies that you are thinking of using for you wedding. They are pretty.

I'm getting married at Giorgio's this July!!! It's such a gorgeous place and the whole family there is so hands on which is exactly what we wanted!!! My girls are wearing Tiffany blue and all of the flowers will be white. You don't need anything crazy in the beautiful room there!!!

We went to a wedding there in July of 2005. We had a great time. I love the whole layout and how the CH lead into the dinner room. I loved how the dance floor was in the middle of the room. The service, the food were both really good! You made an excellent choice!
The couple's who's wedding it was also had their ceremony there, that too was very pretty!

I'm a Giorgio's bride too!! Congrats!! I love it there. We decided not to have flower centerpieces (we've never been fans) and instead are going with candles.

Re: Giorgio's Bride
I'm also a Giorgio's bride. I fell in love with it from the moment we visited it - I saw a few places after that but kept comparing it to how beautiful it was - nothing could compare! I'm getting married on Sept. 2 so everything will still look like summer. I booked it last winter, but saw it again over the summer for a showcase and the grounds were gorgeous.
I like that they take you down to the beach to take pictures - they have a cart they drive you down in but I heard there are some steps you still need to take. Anyone do this yet? I'm worried how steep it is - I better get comfortable shoes!

I definitely will!!!

Re: Giorgio's Bride
I was a GIORGIOS BRIDE in 2003! Just be sure to ASK for the golf cart limo ahead of time, I never got it for mine and therefore, I was NEVER taken to the beach area for pictures, which was VERY disappointing for me. I told my photographer I wanted to do pix by the water and he said LATER, well, later never came and then it was all over. I wasn't aware i had to ASK for the golf cart limo ahead of time, otherwise it would have been ready and waiting to take us to the water. It also rained on my wedding day, so that didn't help.
The food????? FANTASTIC! My family members are STILL raving about it. They ask me how I found this place! I attended a wedding at Giorgios's back in 1998, FELL IN LOVE. So GIORGIOS IT WAS!
HIRE THE PIANO guy to play at your cocktail hour.....adds a very ELEGANT feeling to the mood of your wedding! Although Giorgios' is pretty elegant all by itself!
I would also recommend if you do Vienniese hour ( I know, I cant spell it) make sure they SERVE your cake to the guests at the tables......people told me they were waiting for our cake to be served and it never came, you had to get it yourself at the V hour. Who knew? I mean there was so many other desserts, but it would have been nice to know they all got a chance to have a piece.
