Does anyone know if they Giorgio's plays music for the cocktail hour if someone is not specifically hired? Even just background elevator music?

You have to provide the music. Your DJ can do it for you too. We are getting married at Giorgio's and are using a string quartet for our ceremony/cocktail hour

I got married at Giorgios they had a piano in the middle of the cocktail hr room so we hired a piano player for i think $150. They can recommend one for you. It sounded very classy to be honest

i went to a wedding there a few weeks ago and they had a piano player during cocktail hr right in the middle of the room

My sister got married there and she did the same thing. She had someone play the piano an it was nice!

Thanks ladies! I just got an email from Giorgio's and they confirmed that they can either pipe in soft music, or we could provide a cd for them.
Thank goodness!! I would prefer a pianist but not sure if the budget will accommodate.
