I am getting married there in August 2004 and always have questions about our place. of course they are always cheesy questions but why not a place for us to ask them!!
anyone ever had the cake or vienese there? or is any bride getting the vienese?

Hi girls. Thanks for adding me Jola. I am sooo new at LIW I had no idea there was a Giorgio's thread. Even though MrsStephan (on this thread) was my old college roomie... I'll call you later. But again this is great and getting me in the mood to plan plan plan.
So Giorgio's does not do tastings what do they offer.... also is there another showcase before July 15th.. our date

Re: Giorgio's Brides thread!
Hey girls...I didnt' know there was a Giorgios thread! I'm seriously considering Giorgios for my wedding...I absolutely love it!!! But my fiance and dad think taht the room will be way too big for the amound of people i have. I'm goign to have around 100-110. We thought we could make it look smaller by setting up easels with pictures and a sign in table...but they still think it will look huge. Can you girls tell me (both already married and going to be married) how many people you had and what the room looked like with that amount??? Thanks sooo much!!

Re: Giorgio's Brides thread!
I AGREE IT WOULD HELP MY CHOICES OUT A LOT EASIER.. THEY SHOULD DO SOMETHING FOR THE BRIDES AND GROOMS FOR EACH WEDDING MONTH LIKE 2 MO NTHS B4 SO LIKE THIS MONTH DO A TASTING FOR ALL THE BRIDES AND GROOMS ONLY GETTING MARRIED IN JULY.. THIS WAY WE ALL HAVE A TASTING...
DOES THIS MAKE SENSE????

Re: Giorgio's Brides thread!
I'm booked at Giorgio's for Nov 1/08. For my center pieces I want to get an empty tree branch that i can spray paint in gold. Decorate it with our theme flowers and hanging candles. Does any one have any idea where i can find them besides the florist. I'm trying to get them for my florist(personal friend) so that he just has to worry about the flowers, and i'll just hang the candles.
I agree with Christine. I would love to have a tasting. The showcase was great, but I couldn't focus on the food b/c I wanted to meet the vendors, etc...

I agree. I would like a tasting! I really can't focus on the food at the showcase and it isnt really clear what you are eating when you take the food either.

I know you're asking Jola, but I thought I'd chime in. It would be wonderful if they could so something for us, even as a group, to help us decide. Honestly, I just (naively) assumed there would be a tasting as most halls have them.
