Can anyone who is getting married or got married at Giorgio's tell me when to go and look at a cake. I am just getting the one that comes with the package but i was unsure if i should go now or wait till like 1 month before (I am getting married in June)

I am getting married at Giorgio's in July and I am going to set up a cake tasting and do the cake during April vacation (I am a teacher). My AP got married there in November and she said the basic cake is really basic. She told me to expect to have to add money to get the cake the way I want.

I am getting married there and we ordered our cake from the bakery that they are affiliated with. la Bonne Boulangerie in Port Jeff. We ended up getting an upgraded cake because I didnt like the basic ones and the cake I loved was of course fondant. Corey at the bakery is very nice though. I called on a saturday morning and was able to get an appt for later that day. The upgraded cakes can get expensive but he gives u several options.
