Hi Everyone, My sister is getting married at Giorgios. Shes been calling the recommended hotels and the lowest she has been quoted is $209 per night. We think this is a little excessive...has anyone gotten better rates or know of hotels possibly a little further from the venue that may be more reasonable? Thanks!

The Wading River Motel is cheaper but its dated and its a motel. They also do not block rooms but if its for young people to have a cheaper option, it might be ok.

there is a new hotel on rt 58 by the stop and shop. I ahve a summer house right next to giorgios and thats the only one i know of. there aere probably ones more west on sound ave heading towards rocky point. good luck!

You can look a little west. There are hotels right of the lie by 6 3and 60. I am getting married at giorgios I am going to look at the mariott on the lie and the one in holtsville by exit 63 not sure which one. 209 is a lot but I heard they end up lowering it if u block a certain number of rooms.
PS - signed a contract for Crowne Plaza in Holtsville for $139/night for doubles and $179 for suites. There is a Comfort Inn across the LIE but it was $159/night. You can definitely block off for weddings more than a year out.
Am going to start pricing out buses in the next few months...
