Giorgio's is BEAUTIFUL and a FANTASTIC place.

George is a sweetheart.

I Highly Recommend Giorgio's. Their food is fantastic.

We were just there for New Years and we had a great time.

It was wonderful going back and dancing there after our wedding.

Katrina- LOL Thanks for all the great Pics you took- I was going to drive out today and take some for the florist but now I don't have to thanks to you!!! The new chairs are gorgeous aren't they? When we were there back in May they had others picked out and I liked them but these are even nicer!

I was just thinking maybe you could make guests more excited by doing a whole LI wine country theme- that is if you like wine!

I would be so thrilled if you ended up getting married there!

Glad to help. I just love the chairs. They are so elegant.

My only theme so far is royal purple. I plan to cover everything with purple roses petals and purple bunting or some kind of tulle.

FH likes navy blue though so I may try to work that in with the purple.

Thanks for the wonderful pictures...now I can show people where I'm getting married. I just loved it there. Good Luck with your decision. We got the $50 certificate, used it without them knowing and then when we went to sign George Sr. gave me and my parents free dinner. They are really great people!

They are so nice and they take pride in their establishment. FI loved how clean everything was when we visited. Not that the other halls were not clean but it stood out more at Giorgios. Maybe because of all the earth tones?

Gorgeous and what a great price. I don't think you can beat the price and what they are offering you. If I were you I'd probably go for it. I didn't even look that far considering Dad is handicapped and many of my cousins still live in the tri-state and will have to go home that day for their kids.

If it were me I think I would book it.

What does the indoor ceremony area look like?

The indoor ceremony would be the reception room (closed off from the cocktail room). We would be facing the golf course.

Have you checked out Majestic Gardens? Fi and I saw 12 places before booking (we booked elsewhere) but this was our very close second choice. We got a great price for a Sunday night, I know it's much less during the day. Here's the link, just in caseMajestic Gardens

It's a no go for visiting Majestic Gardens. FI does not like the web site pics (too much pink and flowers on the walls).

We are looking at the web site now.

In the pics on the website there are chafing dishes in the background in what looks like the reception room? There seems to be two rooms though - maybe that day they just used the other room for the reception (table numbers in pics)?

We have not yet book our hall. We have a top 4 (2 in my mind ) and may be visiting one more hall once FI can get off work. He had to work this weekend too.

As for the coordinator, George Jr. recommended Laurie from LA Productions. Brides on here have used her so I'm sure they can give you all the details about her services and fees.

I am considering using a coordinator though - no matter the hall. This is simply because I do not want to put family members in charge of things i.e. making sure the votive place cards are set up and lit just before the reception, taking pics and having people sign the polaroid guestbook or handing out petal cones, programs, cry packs. I want all of the guests to have fun instead of worrying about my details. I hear it's worth it to hire someone.
