then again, i dont think that room is big enough to hold many many people. i ate thier before my wedding it seemed very very small. maybe another room for ceremony or cocktail hour and they could expand cotail hour room? i can see that

Really ? They never mentioned that ! That was one of the reasons we booked there also, one wedding at a time. I don't see how they can do it, though. That room is not that big. Has anybody else heard anthing else on this ?Has any one called them and asked ?

That does not sound right. George Jr. told us they were expanding the place to make the ladies room larger. He made no mention of a second ballroom or getting rid of the groom's suite. I doubt this is accurate.

I agree. The restaruant is not large enough to make it into a ballroom. When we were visiting the bar was being sanded down to be refinished (by George's brother) and he also made no mention of adding a ballroom in place of the restaurant.

I doubt it's true. They PRIDE themselves on being one wedding at a time type place. I know that they said they could have a small party in the restaurant if you booked a Friday or Sat wedding (sunday the restaurant is only open for brunch).

OK Ladies....I just got off the phone and spoke to Mr. Giorgio, Sr.......he assured me that the only renovation is the expansion of the ladies room.....this will be done in stages so that ladies room service will not be interrupted.....Also, they assure that their policy of one bride at a time is in tact....the restaurant facility as it is known now will be getting rid of the ala carte menu and only be used for catering.....extra room! Not a ballroom.....Giorgio's reputation is impeccable...and will stay that way.....(ps I will be getting married there in May)....
