I think so. My roommate in college used to get them and her doctor told her to drink it regularly as a preventitive measure. But you have to make sure its the 100 percent juice and not the cranberry juice cocktail stuff.

Yes!!! and you can go to a health food store and pick up cranberry capsules.

absolutly!! and it works so quickly, and it has been proven to treat UTI's. also, another over the counter treatment is AZO - its cranberry extracts.

Yep. In the past, if I started to feel like I was getting one I would drink cranberry juice and lots of water. It works like a charm!!

yes, it helps relieve the symptoms, but if you have an infection i recommend going to the dr to see if you need antibiotics. otherwise the infection can spread to your kidneys and that's bad. trust me...

Oh yes, I used to have a really bad problem with kidney infections and drink one of the giant containers of it a day!

yes, my dr. also told me that the minute you start to feel you are getting one, take vitamin c pills, it will knock the infection out.

Like others have mentioned, Cranberry Juice is good for prevention, not treatment. If you have an infection go to a doctor!!!

Its also important to know...that only 100% cranberry juice can help. I found that out when i went to the hospital with a horrible UTI..my doctor said sugary cranberry juice can make infections worse. The capsules are the best to take..

not all cranberry juice though tastes the same. Even the 100% juice ones At least for my taste
