Mine took two months. We got ours in Manhattan and they told us some of the offices are really backed up.

Does it matter where you received your license from? Like do some offices move slower than others?

Yes it does matter. A friend of mine was married on 9/26 and she received her in the mailbox when she returned from her honeymoon. When I called where I got my marrige license from, they said some offices take longer. Her's was from Staten Island, mine was from Brooklyn.

Thanks,we got ours in queens so I guess they are behind. I really need it to add my DH to my health insurance.

It also depends on how fast your church/officiant sent it in. SOme dont send it for a week or so and then some offices are slower. Our church waited a week and then the city is always slower than LI ones so ours took almost 2 months
