Girls can be so weird

I went to lunch and saw someone I hadn't seen in a long time. She hasn't seen me since I got engaged and asks to see my ring. She holds her hand up to mine to compare rings and goes, 'Wowwwww??'..in a very strange way. (I know her all too well and know she was comparing the sizes)

Why did she have to compare and put her hand up like a reflex? I think a congratulations would've been fine

FMIL did that to me... she moved my hand all over she pulled it close to her face... and was so weird... i wanted to deck her... but we were at a baby shower so i decided against it
