Girls can I have just a tiny bit of help, please....
Okay here is the thing. I took all of your advise and agreed to use the blue dress for my reception dress for the wedding. I agreed the BM should wear the red dress for both the ceremony and reception. But here is the problem, my red cloak. The girls at brides helping brides pointed out that with both myself and my BMs wearing red, it may not look good. But my mom disagrees. I showed the girls the dress and they all love it, yeks what do I do. any suggestions?
The first dress is the BM dress The second pic is my cloak and the third is what I'm wearing for the ceremony with my FH outfit.

Considering you will be in a cloak, and your BMs will not, I think that will show the difference between you and the BMs.
The only other thing I can think of is possibly getting the cloak in a different color? Maybe blue to match your dress?

I agree, maybe a blue cloatch will work better. Still love the bridesmaid dresses, I would stick with them.
Just a thought are the bridesmaid dresses available in blue or green? If so, why not switch, you wear red, they wear blue. This way you will match

nawwww... no blue. I was thinking maybe putting black lace on the cloak over the red. Do you think that could work?

I think you should leave the cloak as is, in red.
Yes, it's the same color as the BM Dresses, but honestly, it stands out more and it's very different from the dress, and I believe you will not not stand out.

Can you post your dress again? I think I missed it and want to compare.

is there another pic of the cloak where you can see it more fully?
it seems like it is different enough from the dress that you could do it and that it would coordinate well.... but you should make sure you stand out!!

I think you should leave the cloak as is. It will stand out from the BMs as being different, it has a hood and a pattern on the inside. Its a beautiful cloak, I don't think you should mess with it by putting lace on it.

Here are the dresses again. The first one is the ceremony dress with the cloak and the othere one is the reception dress. I won't be using the cloak with it.
Re: Girls can I have just a tiny bit of help, please....
I think you should leave it the way it is. I think the cloak is really nice and you will still stand out from the BM

I agree, leave everything as is! The blue dress is beautiful and the red cloak in your first post is really nice!

I really like the cloak - if you are concerned about maybe get it in blue, black, or a nuetral color so you can wear it to the ceremony and reception. but i think it's different enough its not a problem next to the Bms.

I think the cloak works perfectly with your ceremony dress, and the BM dresses and there is no need to make a change.
I know I was one of the people on BHB that commented about the cloak and what everyone else was wearing, but it wasn't in reference to the dresses you posted in this thread, it was in response to another outfit (I think for the guys) that you posted that had a red cloak. I thought if you had someone else in a red cloak it would detract from you.

Oh I agree. No one else is wearing a red cloak but me, maybe my FH but a smaller one.
