See, I don't want a STD. Some people will get the announcement that I may not want to invite. I'd like to order these myself online as there aren't many to go out. So where can I get a picture template with just the announcement on them? I went to to Vista and most are STDs.

You can edit and revise them to say whatever you'd like. It doesn't have to say 'save the date.'

around what time do you start sending save the dates?? im getting married in june 2010, so i dont want to send them TOO early...someone told me not to send them that early bc you might not want to invite that person to your wedding when the time comes lol

im planning on sending mine out around 11 months before the wedding, because i have a lot of oot guests--but onlyyyy to people i knoww i im going to invite

We made our own engagement announcements, it was a collage of pictures of us which included the pics when I was on the phone with my mom & his mom right after he proposed, everyone said it was like a little story - it was very cute! We made it through Shutterfly. You can write whatever you would like, they give you templates on Shutterfly & Snapfish too. We will be sending the save the dates, to the same people that received our announcements. I am planning to send our save the dates about 8-10 months prior - I jut need to wait until we take our engagement pics, which we plan to do this June.
